Hello MM,
what engine do you have in your Midget?
It will probably fit any 'A' series engine, with some fettling, but whether it's advance curves will suit is another matter. If your engine is a 1275 then it may be OK. If it's electronic ignition you are after it's a better bet to fit one to your existing distributor.

sorry, its not a midget but a minor with a midget engine(Makes no difference really) the engine i have put in has been rebored to 1380 but the guy i bought it from was running an aldon dist. and ignition system. Unfortunately he sold the ignition parts before he sold me the engine so i just need something to get it going, then i can drive it to Tom Aireys and get it setup correctly with whatever dist. he recommends to make it burn some rubber!!! :D

Hello MM,

well, it is cheap enough at present, so will probably be suitable for what you want, at the moment. I don't know, having never seen that particular model if the advance parameters are adjustable (which the earlier models are).

If you are trying to fit it to a Miget engine then it will be an A-series and not an A+

The dizzy mountings are different. The A+ has a fork clamp and the A-series has a pinch bolt arrangement. The dizzy in the auction is A+

Yes that was A+ dizzy - no use for you ! Also very expensive ! just fit any A series dizzy - you can then modify the internal stop and change the springs if you want.
