Hi All,
There seems to be a strange vibration coming through the accelerator pedal at exactly 43mph (SAT NAV speed), it is not present at 42 and below, or 44 and above! any idea what could be causing this?

Re: (not so) good vibrations!
It's not there when coasting, and I haven't tried it in any other gear but I'll be sure to try it in third and let you know- if the noise doesn't burst my ear drums before I get to that speed!
Re: (not so) good vibrations!
I meant the engine noise from getting up to 43mph in third haha!
Re: (not so) good vibrations!
Check the UJs on the propshaft and tightness of coupling to diff. I doubt it has anything to do with the accelerator pedal, it's just transmitting through the body.

Is it the O Ring, and cup etc missing at the base of the gear lever, I don't seem to rememeber it making a racket at one speed though, it generally made lots of noise. Easily tested by putting some pressure on the gear lever, but more than likely you have done that anyway by driving it.
Re: (not so) good vibrations!
I'll add that to the list of things to check BMC, as it doesn't seem like it would manage very well in 2nd at 41- but that could Just be me! Having checked in 3rd gear, the vibration appears at 30mph- does this suggest engine speed or something along those lines? Thanks for all the helpful replies, I'll look later on!
