Electronic ignition question.

I don't believe the coil body needs to be 'earthed' at all. Minors originally had the coil on the bulkhead - I ran mine on the inner wing for 20 years without slightest problem - away from the heat and vibration - and the possible effects of stray AC from the alternator !
