I have made a note of your points and will be sure to get further advice.
That said I do feel that the extraordinary circumstances by which this car came to me cannot be ignored and as a Nutritional Therapist I tend to go with my 'gut feeling' which hasn't let me down so far

I want a car that's safe to drive and reliable but I don't mind investing in restoration.
She may be a little rough around the edges but there is no doubt that a huge amount of love has gone into her and that's more important to me than perfection. I don't trust perfect things being a bit wonky myself!
I feel very grateful of your input though and will be sure to keep my feet firmly on the ground until I feel 100% armed with all the facts I need to make the decision.
