marina engine

hi looking for some info got a morris 1000 with a marina 1275 engine needing a refresh bores are ok but bottom end needs new bearings,only problem is where the hell do I get them from? looked on fleabay but I get bored easily so any body out there who can help I would be very grateful thanx a lot pete

You get bored - so you expect someone else to do the looking for you ???? Until you open the engine you won't know what bearings to get for it anyway - or indeed - if 'bearings' are going to solve the problem - maybe it needs a crank regrind ?? Have you looked at the centre main bearing - or is that too 'boring' for you too ?

Makes you wonder how far than engine rebuild will get! Probably be here for sale soon!

thanks james k for the info. if the other prats who gave negative info want to know the engine is pulled down and it does need a regrind and it will not be on this site for sale in the near future or at any other time does bmcecosse only rip the pee out of new people on here or does he do to everybody have been looking on this site for a while and every newbie who want some info on here all they get is snide remarks I'm surprised they stay with this site and as for les I won't even go there PS I don't care if there don't like it they can go f/ck themselves. once again jamesk thank you at least there are some sensible people on here.

Ask the right questions and you will get good answers. But to ask others to look up parts for you because you are 'bored' is a bit thick. I gave you very useful information - ignore it at your peril and you will probably end up with the wrong 'bearings'. I have asked the Moderators to deal with your highly offensive remarks. You should never allow the forum to become personal. I'll just pop you right on the naughty step (a record I think ?) and then I won't be troubled by you any more! I'm bored with you already....
