Well, alls not well that ends not well as they say. No MOT just yet!

The good news is it didn't fail by much. Basically an imbalance on the rear brakes and hand brake. Everything else passed. So I know where to go at the weekend and hopefully I can get it retested on Tuesday.

Although you seem to have it sorted now, how old is the fuel in the tank? Could it be that you have stale fuel?

That was the one thing I was sure of as Id put fresh fuel in, twice! I drained it and refuelled it as it was possible Id put at least 1gal of diesel in. As it turned out that wasn't the case.

Actually its a very strange feeling! Its been so long since it was on the road it just doesnt register yet!

Still got a load of work to do though. Glove boxes need fitting and the entire interior needs sorting. But I need to figure out why she keeps cutting out and why she is so hard to start. If I can sort those two out I'll be happy to drive her while I sort the other things.
