Vin/Chassis number

Hi all,
I have currently got my hands on my first Morris. the only issue is that it came without a registration document. i need to apply for a registration document but need the chassis number. Would anyone be able to advise me where to go to get this. thanks in advance

You usually get the chassis number from the car itself but in your case maybe not. Is there a plate screwed to the bulkhead? Is there a number plate? ----or indeed any numbers anywhere?

It should be on a plate on the bulkhead, under the bonnet.

Easily unscrewed and moved to another chassis.... There should be a 'stamped in' chassis number on the bulkhead - near where the wiring loom comes through. And a 'body number' high up on the nearside of the bulkhead - a little plate, often overlooked by 'ringers'.
