Air Filter Housing Broken

Post by James k »

Hi,
The air filter housing on my Traveller has broken. The pipe is coming away from the base plate, I'm not sure how it happened. Any ideas on how to fix it? I've looked at new base plates and they're £30 so I'd like to avoid buying another.

Thanks,
James

If the pipes still there a couple of tacks of weld will keep it in place, it a very common bit to break off.

Super glue (weld it if you can). :D

Thanks for the suggestions, I've gaffer taped it for the moment! The next time I'm at a garage I'll get ask if they can weld it secure.
