Roof aerial

Post by Captain flint »

I am now on my second Morris Minor, this has an Opus series 5 suspension and brake conversion.Servo,
Marina front discs and rear axle, car lowered and 13" Weller wide wheels.it is also fitted with a Ford
5speed box.All good stuff, but not for the purists!
Has anyone any experience of this conversion?
Anyway I diverse,my main reason for this post that I want to fit a roof aerial, and can,t really see on previous articles
if this is possible by removing the interior light only without disturbing the headlining.
Many thanks for looking,

If the interior light is at the front of the roof then you can remove the light to fit the aerial and feed the cable down the A post and replace the light. See green Series MM

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your replies,always helpful.
With regards to BMC, if you open Google and enter The Opus Car Company, all will be
revealed, with all the information and diagrams.
By the way I meant series 4 ,1V not series 5. Dooh
Best regards,
Martin.

Hahahaha - so it's Marina brakes and Marina rear axle. At least they have the sense to weld on the damper mounts - and to have the rear dampers vertically mounted - unlike many of the crappy 'kits' on offer.
