803cc timing chain . AGAIN!

Right chain removed loads.of deflection in it when cover taken off need to order the lot if I order the duplex kit ( chain and sprockets) do.i need to order anything else did I see something somewhere about an oil thrower?

Depends which thrower you have at the moment. And are you getting a new cover - or just sticking with what you have?

Cover with Seal fitted not the felt the oil thrower I have I would assume is the standard article basically this entire subject is as clear as mud.

Should be fine then. If going duplex - be sure to countersink the two holes in the frontplate.

Your timing chain cover at some time in the past has been replaced with the later version. The 803cc Minor engine had a felt seal as standard.
The two holes that need to be countersunk are the two 1/4" holes at the bottom of the front plate and are the ones that allow attachment of the front engine plate to the front main bearing cap.
The oil thrower plate (Pt No: 12A1148 (MOSS)) is the one you require when using a timing cover (Pt No: 12G2506 (MOSS)) fitted with a lip seal; it should be virtually flat and should not have the return (which is oil thrower cupped (Pt No: 2A1015 (MOSS)).
The plate Pt No: 12A1148 has the letter 'F' stamped on the face that fits forward towards the timing chain cover.
Here is a picture of the two holes being countersunk with a 90 degree countersink.
It is better if the front engine plate is removed for countersinking - if not removed use a powerful vacuum cleaner to catch and extract any swarfe. [frame]Image[/frame]
