Wiper blades
I'm looking for black plastic wiper blades as opposed to the chrome ones, also black infill for the windscreen rubber, again as opposed to the chrome plastic variety. Can't anyone suggest a supplier please ?

Re: Wiper blades
Actually Steve, that's not a bad idea, as there is still plent of life left in the ones fitted.SteveClem wrote:Black spray paint?

Re: Wiper blades
I sprayed a few chrome bits on my old Landrover when I 'de-blinged' it. Worked pretty well.

Les
I have used Landrover arms black hooked cut down and welded to the right length and they now accept aero-flat blades.... much better and the 10/11" Mini blades fit nicely too

Re: Wiper blades
I don't really care what my blades look like but I DO want them to wipe the screen clear! After a disappointment with expensive "Tex" stainless steel blades which fell to pieces within months, I bought a pair of black "Lucas" blades which do a great job and cost less than £3.00 each from a local motor factors
Part number is LWCB11 for the 11inch blade.

Re: Wiper blades
Located these blades online but can't get a good view of how they fit to the arms. Do they slide onto the arms which are about 5 mm wide (what I consider the standard Minor fitment) or are they the type that fit an arm that ends in a U shape?

Re: Wiper blades
Les, mine fitted straight on to the original Minor 1000 arms as a direct replacement for the previous blades. Just seconds to fit
They don't look "original" but work well which is what I wanted. The blade carrier is metal but there is a plastic clip which attaches to the arm. I'll take a photo if I can.
