Re: Meet Rosie
Not at all mad, Maddie, they always go better when they feel wanted. Someone started a thread recently called 'weeping carb', almost certainly caused by emotional deprivation I'm sure.

It's certainly up there with the lilac of the Minor Million! The insects find it very attractive in the summer...

Re: Meet Rosie
A few years ago there was a highway yellow convertable in the next village,I'm not sure if it was a converted saloon as I though the yellow Ines left the factory as saloons,I could of course be wrong!

Re: Meet Rosie
To my knowledge there were never any factory made Highway Yellow. It's a lovely colour and it suits the Minor. I personally love the 1961 era of Minor for the new colours the factory used.. Highway Yellow, Porcelain green, Clipper Blue. I own a Clipper Blue and a Porcelain Green

Re: Meet Rosie
The Haynes Restoration Manual (which is never wrong.....) lists Highway Yellow as being introduced in 1962 and discontinued in 1963. Not available for Travellers, but nothing to suggest convertibles couldn't have it.

Re: Meet Rosie
I have seen an original factory built convertible, Highway Yellow from new, so at least one was built!
