Anti-freeze compatibility

Post by Oldmogman »

Came across an unopened bottle of Motorcraft antifreeze in my garage, but it's marked 'ethanediol' instead of the usual ethylene glycol.

Is it compatible with ethylene glycol? Is there anyone who studied chemistry who could tell me?!

Thanks all

Looking it up in Google it appears that 'ethanediol' is 'ethylene glycol', so should be fine to mix with other glycol based antifreeze solutions.
