New Ladybird books (for grown ups)

Post by SteveClem »

Has anyone come across these? Hilarious to anyone who grew up reading the originals I think.

Saw a feature on them and yes they do look great, I reckon they're destined for quite a few Christmas stockings :D

I got one for my husband it's entitled 'The Wife' 'how it works'.

The first page shows a smiling lady in a deckchair in a sunny garden watching her little one play with a plastic duck in a water filled sandpit. The opposite page explains.... This is a wife. She looks happy doesn't she? This is because she is on her second glass of wine. :D

Here's another... When a wife feels sad, she eats chocolate. Chocolate makes wife feel happy. But eating chocolate makes her worry about her weight and skin, which makes her feel sad. Still, there's always chocolate. :) :)

Tickled my husband so worth buying.
