Can anyone tell me anything about the seats i have?

When i bought this complete interior i was told they were from a late 50,s two door?
All the front seats do is theres one lever to the side at the front,base of the seat.You push it down and the seat clicks forward a few notches and the whole seat tilts as well.
The rear door cards for where a 4 door rear door would be don't have holes for window winders etc?
Is it just a mix of 2 door and 4 door interior?

They do indeed look like a set from a late 1950s 2door car (saloon or convertible) although I can't see the shape of the entire rear seat base to confirm. The trimmer has not completely replicated the original pattern so they won't suit the purist, but they do look a tidy set of seats

Here's a pic of the rear seat base and the bottom of a front seat to show you the mechanism.WOULD THIS FRONT SEAT MOVE ENOUGH TO LET PEOPLE INTO THE REAR OF THE CAR?kIND OF HARD TO TELL WHEN IT'S OUT OF THE CAR!:-)

Sorry but your link doesn't show any pictures The front seats in my traveller just tip forward, no folding, and there's enough room to step into the back.

I think that only the drivers seat has that adjustment (mine does) and the passenger seat just tips forward on the front mounts to allow access to the back seat..

That certainly looks like an interior for a 2dr saloon. I'd say '57onwards. The driver's seat adjusts forward/back to allow for different leg length of the driver.

So from what im being told the general setup for front seats in a two door is drivers seat just adjusts for leg length,passengers seat should tilt right forward pivoting on the front bar of the seat base through the two front floor brackets?

Most 2 door cars of that period had a passenger seat which also folded as well as tipped. This feature was dropped during 1964 I think so it doesn't really matter unless someone is particularly keen to have that type of seat. As the upholstry is non-standard anyway I wouldn't worry about it too much. The seats which fold up make rear access slightly easier that's all.
