hi all.
I recently received my headliner kit from Newton Commercial. I have a 4 door (54 1000 saloon) the headliner has the sewn pockets for 3 hoops.. the mess that I took off the car had 4 (FOUR!) hoops... what gives? I am not very familiar with these cars. did I get the wrong headliner? should they have 4 hoops? 3 hoops? those of you with the 4 door saloons out there... how many hoops are on your headliner?
thank you gentlemen.

Re: headliner
Hi
I have a four door 1954 it has four retaining bars for roof lining
I think the later cars only had three securing bars and the front of the lining was secured to a plywood board

Re: headliner
It sounds as though you've got the liner for the later cars. If that's what you ordered, then ask nicely if they'll change it. If you ordered for the early car and they sent the wrong liner, then you can ask more forcefully for them to send the correct one.
