I really just can't get things rolling with this restoration, wasn't expecting all this hassle, putting a damper on things to say the least.I'm just going to have to wait on the wood i ordered, then cut and poke around with these panels to make them remotely minor shaped.

It is very frustrating, but unfortunately you have fallen into the same trap as the rest of us. The assumption that you can buy a replacement part that fits your vehicle is a fair one. The reality is that a lot of it is rubbish, take a look at some of the panels made abroad by a well known restoration specialist, they are laughable.

Take a step back, sit down with a refreshing beverage and take a deep breath. All of these problems can be overcome, it's just not going to be as straight forward as you expected.

Don't give up! Look forward to the wood coming and use the time to plan other parts of the restoration. Problems occur and solutions are found. :)
