Gauge and was wondering what normal

Driving.i won't be using till the morning for
Work

The stat will probably be 82 or 88 degrees Centigrade, so the gauge should give something similar. I presume that you have already gone to -ve earth, which is essential for most modern gauges (older ones didn't care). It is normal to power gauges like this from the instrument voltage stabiliser (the one that feeds the fuel gauge) otherwise you might see variable readings.
That gauge Looks similar to one of mine. It runs from 12v, so the voltage stabiliser (10V) would not work too well as a supply. It shows consistent readings but maybe not totally accurate readings.
Get used to where it normally reads and take note of any deviation from normal.
