poor quality new parts not happy

i have just tried to fit a series 2 clutch shaft purchased from a well known supplier who i will not name yet , it has been made with the following faults , crank on the end out of line to cotter pin grove so nothing lines up , flat for cotter pin not deep enough and not cut straight , crank not at 90 deg to shaft , crank not set to correct angle to allow clutch rod to line up , me not impressed i now have my car stuck in the garage with no pedals so i will get a piece of 5/8 steel and make my own using the crank end from my old one , on the plus side the bronze bushes are fine !!!!

You have to return it otherwise they will think your a happy customer - which your obviously not!

I'm sure some manufactures have difficulty reading a rule. Either that or they take the specification from another make of car.

it's not exactly a complicated part , i have drawn pictures to show the faults so if it goes back to the manufacturer at least they can see what's wrong as i guess their english is not to good !!!

i have just received a refund including my postal costs , a refund was the last thing i expected as i had started to modify the part so i guess the refund is an admission of a faulty part,still i am happy and i have had nice a phone call to say sorry as well
