Van Rim & Tyre Sizes

Post by EML137J »

Evening,
I'm getting really confused, so please can any of you tell me what width rims should be on a late PO van (not entirely certain mine are correct), and which make and tyre size is best to fit, whilst trying to maintain an authentic look. Many thanks. Mel

520x14 lp696 spot welded rims on GPO/PO

Sadly, don't make "Ultra-Grip" T&C's anymore - so limited to radials.

I assume Crossplys available(?).
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

Cheers, there's no way I want to be that original ..... I'm never driving with crossply tyres again ..... the leafy lanes of Devon aren't brilliant at the best of times. Now thinking of ordering radials 155/14. :D

Too wide for narrow rims - 145/14 is the maximum safe size.
