Thanks Mark.
I got the sticker from Sticky Fingers Decals.

Wasn't cheap but I don't know how else I could have finished it off nicely.

Re: Hello all.
Thanks, hadn't realised it was the backing sheet as well - looks pretty effective. I gave up worrying about odd tenners soon after I started on this restoration malarkey.......

Re: Hello all.
Yeah, it covers the whole fascia and you wouldn't know the difference unless you were really looking. By fluke or skill (mostly fluke) I got it dropped on perfectly first time in the right place! Was chuffed and relieved.
Odd tenners just fly out of this house at the moment, normally in bundles. Had to buy a gearbox spigot last week for nearly £20.00 (yeah, you read it right, twenty flaming quid). Changed it over and then found the one on the engine was exactly the same. Dad changed it when we started the project nigh on twenty years ago (and fair play, he didn't remember how far we'd got, but we didn't want to chance it). We immediately had a reorganisation of the garage with parts being properly labelled and I think we've got enough duplicates to make a new car!
As an aside, a Minor place on the island closed down a few years ago- Dad leaped in and cleared the stock. If you want a windscreen we have loads, plus rads, rubbers etc. sorry I didn't set this up as an advert. ;-)
