Definately unreasonable.

Mind you, the most I have had at one time is seven. Having therapy and have reduced down to five now although technically four as the van is Gillian's.

Sorry to hear that Mckenzie, you must have had a torrid time through that. Keep up the interest in Moggy's... I think these cars need all the restorers that can get their hands on them in the current climate. :)

Now in my ownership, and rather worse for wear. In two minds about keeping it, as it needs more welding than any other car I have had.

The OP made it look like its a dateless reg, its not KGF 789, it's KGF 789A, so its on a 1963 reg, but is definitely a 1959 car.

Not yet, as I took deliver of it, realised the extent of the welding, wheeled it into the garage, closed the door, and pretended it was close to mot worthy :D

Well done for saving one from the scrappy.
The a reg is almost certainly a re reg due to someone selling off the orig plate many years ago. The DVLA issued A registrations for a long time, before they started doing age related plates. Good news is that you can apply for a six digit age related plate and it should be free. I know you're a long way off but the facility is there when you need it.

These are the numbers off the vin plate...

(might be wrong, as hard to get in the engine bay)

M7 AS3 710903

I was a bit puzzled though about the actual vin plate, as its the big squarish plate. Being a '59 car, shouldn't it be the smaller oblong one.

Without looking in a ref book, 710thousand sounds rightish for a 59 car. Will let Pommreg fill in the details for you :)
