identification reqd

I have recently acquired a 1098 engine together with a 1969 convertable-abandoned project.Could someone please identify the object in the attached photos which is attached to no1 plug

Isn't this the "10ME" (export) engine?
Further investigations uncovered it was an inside job!!

It's just an extended cap -for engines where the plugs are buried down a tunnel.

it's a plug lead from a modern engine something where the plugs are down in the cylinder head
