Indicator flashing double speed one side.

Post by chrisdebois »

Hello. I just tested the indicators yesterday and found that the nearside ones flash at about twice the speed they should. Front and back are both flashing though. Would there be an obvious (to someone not stupid like me) reason for this?

Chris.

You will find that you need a 21watt bulb in each indicator to operate the flashing relay at the correct speed. :D

It's pozsiblethere is a double fault with. Twin filament bulb. Earth Fault and blown 21 watt filament, so it is earthing back through the 5 watt filament.....or the bulb may be in wrong wayround!
