Glove locker magnetic catches
Anybody know a source of new catches; alternatively can you suggest an adaptation to eliminate a very irritating habit of flying open? I have looked at cupboard catches, but they all seem the wrong size for the mounting holes. I have a 1971 Traveller.

Re: Glove locker magnetic catches
Try fitting the magnetic kitchen cupboard catches available from the likes of B&Q & Wickes. The original ones are no longer made unless you might find some at an autojumble or post a request in the Wanted section if you want original.

They lose power over time, so no point buying on ebay. Look for neodymium magnets on ebay, VERY strong....and cheap.

Another example of cost cutting. The Series MM had the same shape lid but with a secure button release latch. Perhaps you could fit the MM catch
