Some time ago I replaced the front brakes on a relations corsa c, the discs have large clearance holes for the m12 studs (4*100 ) and fit easily over the minor studs, the hole in the centre of the disc is too small for the minor but 10 minutes on the lathe can soon fix this, there is plenty of room between the disc and the upright to fit a caliper bracket as well. So it looks like a few hours on the lathe and mill could give a cost effective disc brake conversion. Has anyone else tried this?

Re: corsa brakes
Initial measurements seem to be that it will fit inside the 13" rostyles we have, the corsa had 13" wheels so no great suprise, I will mock it up with a mdf bracket to check clearance and possible bracket designs, it will probably also need longer studs but that is easy enough.

Re: corsa brakes
It was a 2003 corsa C, I have a pair of calipers on the way and then I will mock it all up and take some photos.
I also found some pictures of polo discs used in a similar way, so it looks doable.
