Deep humming noise

Post by MacD »

There is a deep humming noise when driving over thirty... don't think it's the engine ...could it be from wheel bearings ?
The steering is unaffected .

Jack the front up and loosen the brake adjusters and spin the wheels, any rumbling or roughness , could be wheel bearings.
Then jack the back axle up on axle stands, start the engine, put it in fourth and rev it up till the speedo says 30, any noises?
