Paint colour for gille

Post by hornmeister2000 »

Hi all, could someone please tell me the correct name for the paint on Naomi's grille (see picture in my signature). She is a 1970 2-door saloon in Trafalgar Blue.

Thanks!

Cam when did they change the grill colour from Old English White as I thought all the later cars had grills that colour.

Around October 1967 the grille changed from Old English White to Snowberry White.

My Grille is incorrect as it's Old English White but my car is a 1969 model.

Right the same time they discontinued Old English White as a body colour and introduced Snowberry White as a body colour.

I@ve read that the Dublin built minors have the grille in body colour. I have a 69 4 dr which I am working on. It has a white grille and wheels. Has anyone seen a black grille on a black car. Does it look right?

How about the colour of the rims on a series II? Should these be the same colour as the grill, thus black? Would make my car look a lot more sinister...... All black and evil

I'd go for pink, that would look really macho.
