Hello all,
I own a 1969 almond green 2 door and I am having difficulty finding the first owner. Where does one begin to search? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
K Evans

Re: Tracing the original owner
I belive you can request information from the DVLA using form V888 at
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... -a-vehicle
This will cost you.
Not done this myself but others in the Branch have requested the information for all previous owners to generate the cars full history
Hope this helps

Re: Tracing the original owner
You might be lucky with a '69 model, all my 3 1950's ones only go back to when local authorities handed over to the (then) DVLC and the log-books where scanned in - so nothing much pre 1971. Original documents would have been disposed of or, if you are even luckier, may have survived in a Local Authority's archives.
Still worth doing a V888, as you do get some history - all the best,
George.
