Post by Celia »

The skuttles I just took off had one screw ito one corner holding it in place, how should they be fitted? are there any illustrations available?

It depends on the age of the car. Originally they WERE screwed and were not vinyl covered but made of millboard coloured to suit the interior. Sometime (early 1960s?) they became covered in vinyl and were held on by the extra material going underneath the draught excluder as stated above.

Thank you, Celia is a 1959 two door saloon, she had a duo tone interior fitted at some point, but the interior panels are all buckled. I am attempting to straighten the rear panels and have bought new for the front. I might try stick on velcro, that way they will be held by all the edges.
