Diff oil

Post by ronnie »

I would like to change my diff oil as it's probably not been changed in many years. Any tips on how to get it all out

easy take the car for a run get the diff oil warm then undo the plug at the bottom of the diff replace the plug undo the plug at the back of the diff refill with ep90 till the oil starts to run out of the filler replace plug . you will need a plug key .

If it's a 1098 axle then take it for a run to get the oil hot (so that it is thin and runs well) and then undo the drain plug.
