Indicator lens colour

Hi. 1959 mog. The indicator stalk fitted to Boris doesn't have the later green lens tip at the end of the stalk but has a yellow lens at the base of the stalk near the column. Should this be a green lens (aged green and gone yellow) or is yellow correct ?

Nope, amber light on the base is correct for a '59.
Think it was 1960 they started with the green light type.
