Are the quarter light front windows adjustable seating wise in the frame ?
The reason for asking is that a previous owner of Boris has fitted all new seals around them but the glass doesn't sit in or against the seal correctly. Passenger side is so far out that you can see the gap between glass and the rear seal when closed.

Re: Quarter lights
I remember someone posting a link to this company, http://www.coh-baines.co.uk/categories/Morris/
They commented on how much better the quality was. I haven't used them myself though.

Re: Quarter lights
If you still have the old seals-stick them in the washing machine with plenty of "Lenor".
That will soften them up-good for windscreen rubbers too.

Re: Quarter lights
No the seals were replaced by a previous owner. They also changed the rear side window seal and now glass and seal can be moved in the bodyshell. What is wrong with manufacturers and suppliers selling making and selling items that just don't fit !! All these parts should be sent back when purchased so something is done about it. I got a Morris Minor because "all parts are available" well yes they are, but going by my previously restored Mog the parts don't fit, if they fit they don't work, if they fit and work they don't last !! I've not found this while restoring my XJS or Mini as yet.

Re: Quarter lights
I've heard it said that the people who make the parts for Minors have decided that we are all too tight to pay for decent quality and consequently they manufacture to a ridiculously low budget. I've no idea if this is just an urban legend.
