My Tourer restoration has been continuing with the help and advice from members of the forum - thank you. I pulled a dent out of one wing and filled and sanded it; loads of wet and dry preparation; some electrical wiring restoration; new front panel and refurbished grille; waxoyling in every nook and cranny; interior pretty much out and all chromework off the car. I'm getting close to taking her off the road and getting everything stripped for a respray now. Original Old English White with the maroon roof of course!
I've been absolutely amazed by the reaction it gets from everybody - the car makes loads of people smile and you get nothing but positive comments. Really enjoying doing the work at the moment but I'm
really looking forward to putting the shiny bits on after the paint has gone on.
This is how she's looking tonight.
