Gold. TPM 1504/1525 as standard (I can't remember which exactly). Reads to 80MPH.
Re: Speedo black or gold
Cheers Ta. Car has black one at the mo but I did manage to pick up a gold face one so I'll check the TPM on it. I'm sure it it's up to 80mph as you say. Just got it in pieces at tge moment as it was starting to sieze up.

Re: Speedo black or gold
before making any changes i would check the differential ratio as some of the older cars have had a replacemet diff from a morris 1000 fitted which is 4:22, this would need a speedo with 1376 tpm or there abouts, hope this helps, Graham

Yes. It's not going to be put on as yet so I'll sort out what ratio the axle is. Might have to be a one of job as it's got a 5 speed Sierra box in also? Not sure. I did see on here a poster was making up little adaptor gearboxes to sort the TPM out.

It's a marina 1275 and sierra 5 speed. Only had the car a few weeks and not looked at diff as yet. Is the ratio stamped on it anywhere or is there any easy way to check it?
