Slide switch under choke

Post by James k »

I was trying to sort out my windscreen washers today when I noticed a switch that I haven't before. It's a black slide switch just under the choke. I'm surprised that I've not seen it before as it's hardly out of the way. Is this a standard thing or has it been fitted for something? I can't work out what it does, if anything. Any ideas?

Thanks
James

I think you have discovered the dashboard backlight switch.

Yesterday I discovered that the drivers seat CAN be adjusted. I wonder what I'll find next!

If you look down the back of the seat squabs, you might just find a few coins!

Restoring our 1971 Traveller, a couple of weeks ago my wife stripped the upholstery off the drivers seat and discovered a 1973 1/2 penny piece. I'd practically forgotten they ever existed. Can anyone remember when they were taken out of circulation?
