Fuel pump advice
I have connected my fuel pump direct to a battery and the pump does not click. I have cleaned the points and they don't click open and closed. Is there anything that I can check as the pump looks relatively simple in design.

You need to follow the instructions to strip/clean/reset in the Workshop Manual. There's no point going over it all here - it's well covered in the Manual.

Well done...that's what the Manual is for! In some areas it's a bit lacking - but it is good on the fuel pump.
