Re: nut on leaf spring !
Are you referring to the bolts that hold the Plate Front Spring (Pt No: ACA5271) which locates the Pin Front Spring Eye (Pt No: ACA5305/ACH5180.
Unless the plate is worn there should be no need to remove the plate to renew the spring eye bushes.
Just remove nut (Pt No: GHF202) and carefully knock out the pin front spring eye.
If you do need to remove the awkward bolt carefully cut off the nut and tap the bolt inwards and renew the bolt (Pt No: AJD6106Z) & nut (Pt No: AJD8104) not forgetting the spring washer (Pt No: GHF331)
All part numbers are from the MOSS catalogue.

Re: nut on leaf spring !
I have found that quite often, after 40+ years without attention, the anchor bolt has become firmly attached to the plate. In this case, angle griber to remove the two small bolts, and them remove the plate and bolt together. Fitting a new plate and small bolts is easy with the spring out. Even with the spring fitted, a thin spanner will fit between the spring and the hanger, holding the nut on the small bolt whilst you tighten the bolts.
