camshaft oil way
Just a quick question does the oil way feed for the camshaft enter the head on the front right hand side , (as looking from front of car) as whilst trying to start my minor after it had been standing for 5 years, it has developed a serious oil leak from head gasket in that area ? many thanks

Re: camshaft oil way
The camshaft gets it's oil from the front main bearing.....and then passes it on up through the block , through the head gasket, and up through the cylinder head to the rocker shaft.... So 'yes' - that oil could be leaking out between block and head.
