I believe 803 engines start 'APHM'.

Where's the oil filter situated? Is it a spin-on filter down by the distributor?

Here we go again. If the engine has an oil filter canister screwed to the side of the block it is an 803.

Show us a picture of the engine.... It could be a recon (is it 'Gold' ??) - or a rare 848 engine !

Don't have a photo, sorry. Not painted gold but the gentleman I am talking to is going to check oil filter tmoz.
