Since 2 months now, my dad and I bought a lovely yellowish Minor 1971.
Being a good bases for a (partly) restauration, after 3 weeks rolling around the block to see what we've bouhgt, we started dismantling ;-)
4 new wings (thanks to ESM) are ready to go to the painter next week (as the bonnet and hood) some (lots) of new/better chrome parts en some minor things.
Now working on the engine. Engine is out, and totally in (cleaned) parts. Damage until now; 1 broken pistonring (already broken, not with dismantling) bearings (big-end & mains) worn but cranckcase taps good and camshaft worn. clutchplate worn and release bearing totally worn....
New parts already on the ESM orderlist, but here's my question;
Inlet valves and seats are fine.
Exhaust valves are black, seats (heavily?) pitted. So will have seats cut in (as little as possible) and will order new valves.
No 'lead- free' conversion wanted because of low expeted milage/year.
My question is to order what valves / collets exactly......

So i would realy appreciate if anyone could give me some advice of using what type of valve....
Later on i will introduce myself properly...sorry for just bumping in with my question....
thanks,
