Practical Classics Restoration Show at the NEC

Post by Cam »

Hi all,

The Practical Classics restoration show is on the 28th & 29th March 2015 and promises to be another excellent event.
The MMOC will be in attendance as well as lots of other Classic Car Clubs.

The new Practical Classics magazine has a feature on the 'Restorer of the Year' on page 10.

Matt Tomkins (one of our young members) is one of the 26 nominees.

Practical Classics are looking to their readers to chose their favourite by 28 Feb and the best 10 will be asked to the Show at the NEC in March for the final judging.

If you visit: http://www.necrestorationshow.com/pc-restorer-year

You can see all the nominees. Matt is No. 25 on the list. For those who have seen Matt's work and wish to vote for him, please do so before the 28th Feb.

Number 18 is another Minor, the red two headed saloon, owned by Richard Wilson from Kirton, Lincs.

Vote away, and may the best restorer win! :D

p.s. we will be there with Gill's van on the LCV register stand, so come over and say hello. :D

Thank you for that, Cam :) and thanks for the wish of luck, irmscher. It would be fab to be invited to display it at the show, although it'll be more work, as the gazebo it was being kept in collapsed overnight and one of the brken poles has destroyed the paint on the rof, so i will be totally respraying the roof among my studies now. as if I didnt have enough to do!!
At least it would give me a deadline - I work best with a stupidly over-ambitious deadline ;)
