Re: Condenser - who needs it?
The quality of potatoes isn't what it used to be.
My engine has been unreliable since I fitted a cheap imported potato.

I wonder if, at the end of the journey - the potato will be nicely baked ? Or maybe just half-baked.........

And, of course, once the potato is redundant as a condensor, it can be cut in half and smeared on the screen for de-misting ;)

Re: Condenser - who needs it?
I tried a Pontiac potato in my car but the fuel consumption increased dramatically.

Re: Condenser - who needs it?
I recall some years ago my father's Minor convertible once broke down due to a failed condensor. The AA man didn't have the correct one, and was going to arrange to have the car towed, but I suggested fitting a random one that he happened to have in the patrol van on the outside of the distributor and it worked.

Of course any allotmenteer will tell you there are "early" "mid" and "late potatoes, so depending on which is used will the timing be affected?

And would a sweet potato make the engine run better?
