Hi.
The front seats in my 1966 2 door don't have any forwards/backwards adjustment so I guess they're both passenger seats.
I've bought a pair of seats which I think are series 2 seats. They have a different pattern on the vinyl, both seats have forwards/backwards adjusters and they have a solid one piece base instead of the webbing.
Is it possible to swap the series 2 seat frames with mine so mine have adjustment, or can I put my covers onto the series 2 seats so they match.
Or if the bits cant be swapped should I just re-colour the series 2 seats to match my interior?
Thanks.
Neil.

Re: Seat interchangeability query
The seats are different shapes so parts would not be interchangeable. The adjusters were fitted to drivers side only, in the centre on Series MM/II seats and offset on later seats (I think). Either seat will fit the floor mountings and the Series II seat is probably more comfortable
