Seems the government are going to allow these things onto uk roads. I hope to be long gone before they get into Derbyshire.

I just hope the software they run is not Windows based. Imagine getting the "blue screen of death" on a motorway!!!

I suspect the health and safety settings will be turned up so high that they will struggle to make progress anywhere except on motorways.
Having your car stop because some people have decided to have a natter near a zebra crossing is highly likely.

I would imagine when it stops at lights it will utilise the hand brake, rather than burning the stop lights! In which case, roll on the driverless car! :D Maybe even keep headlights in adjustment!

I believe that the newVW Passat will automatically reverse park with a trailer or caravan on tow. Could be useful.
