Looking at my copy of the instruction that came with the cabinet it certainly does recommend in the FEATURES section "that this unit is used with a vacuum extraction device" and in the OPERATION section it again refers to using a vacuum extraction device - but both the instructions and the the current catalogue do not give advice or show parts which are or may be suitable to be used in the context of 'a vacuum extraction device'.
The filter on the R/H panel and seen on the instruction front sheet is the one that blocks very easily and is the one I removed to allow exiting air to move freely from the cabinet to the ash can filter.
So it appears that unless you are able to fix up a suitable home produced extraction device - the recommendation instruction "that this unit is used with a vacuum extraction device" is of little help.
