£5 0r £10 you will get copies of all keepers since the vehicle first appeared on the DVLA's system, including a copy of the log used to put it on!
DVLA came on stream 1971-1977, so it may have been on from new your never know your luck.

Absolutely, it just needs the old Logo on there with that big square a**ed "E". You never see any old Wales Gas vans around either, guess those guys killed them off.RussLCV wrote:that colour is for sure SWEB blue

Yes think that was the colour.
I like the colour now. Wasn't sure when I first picked it up.

I think the MMOC are sticking to black engines for Austin LCVs - an idiot like me will never convince them otherwise!irmscher wrote:Nice colour What colour was the engine in the van black or green ?

Caveman when it comes to paint; light blue, mid blue or dark blue - as for Antelope
in the suburbs of B'ham, there are Antelope's in Africa, but NOT blue ones!

Re: austin van
Of course there would be a completely separate batch of black engines for all Austin badged LCVs. Makes perfect sense on a production line system.... Surely its just a date thing, that the engines were black after a certain date regardless of the Minor they went into? As for that date, I'd be asking you...
cheers
