Oil bath air filter
Just wondered if anyone can help, we have a 1958 Moggy ice cream van which has an oil bath type air filter but no brackets.
Has anyone any pictures of what is missing or even better the missing brackets!
Thanks in advance.

No photos but if I remember there are two legs which bolt on to front and rear manifold studs and two legs which bolt on to the rocker box studs. See "Original Morris Minor" P.50

Thanks!
See from the diagram on Moss what is needed, typical that it says not available!
I`ll try upload some pictures, last time we had it out was probably 10yrs ago... and that was the first time since 1972!

Re: Oil bath air filter
There was an oil filter assembly including brackets for sale in Club Spares. Might be worth contacting Bryan to see if he still has it:

Re: Oil bath air filter
Do not keep the van off the road just for th oil bath air filter, fit a dry filter whilst you are looking.
Oil bath filters were fitted to 803 GPO vans

Good Day all
Very useful info regarding oil bath air cleaners: thank you.
Does anyone have pictures of the type fitted to 1957 Minors please? Picture for workshop manual below. Part 27, does that replace a cylinder head nut?
Many Thanks.
