Traveller interior trim

Anybody know where I can get Limeflower leathercloth (?) material to do some interior trim repairs/ renovation? Some years ago, Newton Commercial told a previous owner that it was no longer available . It seems an expensive trip to renew the entire inside, and with a different colour.

Short answer is that it's not made anymore.

I have a Teal coloured 1971 traveller and I decided to change the interior completely.

If you just need small patches then try putting out a 'Wanted' ad on the Messageboard. Alternately, I gave the remnants of my limeflower fabric to RussLCV but that was a couple of years ago now, so I don't know if he kept them or passed them on - you could try PM'ing him.

It was never the most popular colour - although I liked it well enough to spray the roof of a 'new' Mini I built (on a new bodyshell) that colour. Probably need to settle for black now - or you could try spray painting the trim......

You haven't said what you need to replace or repair.As Roy suggests you can use vinyl upholstery paint.Take a small sample cut from a hidden area,under a seat for example and send it to Woolies.They'll colour match it and send you a bottle of dye.Just buy a light,maybe cream or white coloured vinyl and colour it to use as your repair material.

I too have a 1971 Traveller in Teal blue, so I would be interested to hear what new colour you chose, and how you think it turned out.

I chose cream leather effect and had it done by a local upholsterer (which was way cheaper than buying the proper covers and adds some individuality), he did a fantastic job. Hard to see in the pics but the piping on the seats is also teal. I made new door cards and panels out of white faced hardboard (white side toward the car) using the old ones as templates.

But the 'buscuit' coloured standard upholstery also looks very nice as well.

Depends what you get up to!!

Not being real leather it wipes clean fairly easily
