Man Flu and manning up

I have spent the last 5 days like a good deal of the population of this fair isle, coughing sneezing and generally being miserable.
The missus has decided to help by inventing MUMs, that is Man up Mints.
They would take the size and shape of refreshers but would borrow an idea from the makers of love hearts.
Printed on said mints would be the phrases, "there there" or "Never mind" "could be worse" or "oh dear"
How I stumbled across such a sympathetic, empathetic and patient soul remains an absolute mystery to me.
I do hope she cops it

You see, this is why we wanted the Scots to stay in the union.
At times of deepest crisis, manflu epidemics and the like, there is always a sterling (pardon the pun) idea comes from North of the border that is eminently practical, affordable and perfectly acceptable to the recipient.
